Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe Competitions

Our senior members Andrew Byrne, David Cardenas, Anthony Giorgi, Ethan Moyer, and Matt Nagy represented TCNJ at the Metropolitan Regional Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe competitions on April 25th and 26th. TCNJ’s XE chapter is proud of our members for working hard and giving it their all this past year.

The Steel Bridge team qualified for the national competition after finishing second overall! The team also placed in the following competition categories: first in construction speedfirst in aesthetics (4th year in a row!) and second in construction economy.

The Concrete Canoe team braved inclement weather that resulted in the races being canceled. However, we strongly believe that TCNJ would have completed all the races and placed favorably with this year’s canoe. The team placed 3rd in the Final Product Prototype category, only 5 points behind first place.

Congratulations and thank you to all!
