Raymond Mankbadi, PE

Ray Mankbadi has over 40 years of practical engineering experience.  He is currently the Director of Hardesty & Hanover’s Geotechnical Engineering and Principal Associate. He previously served as the manager of Princeton Geotechnical Department with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) (now WSP). Ray also serves The College of New Jersey as a member of the Industry Advisory Council and practitioner advisor to the TCNJ ASCE Student Chapter.

Ray is experienced in providing design and construction-related services for railroad, highways and bridges. While his expertise includes deep foundations design and construction-related services for highways and bridges, Ray is considered an industry expert in soil improvement new technologies such as Vibro-Concrete Columns and Controlled Modulus Columns. Ray is currently managing the geotechnical activities for more than one billion dollars in construction projects from New England to Florida.

Ray holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, a MS in Geotechnical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and has completed additional postgraduate study at University of Connecticut. While at UConn, Ray was inducted into Chi Epsilon, and became the treasurer of the Chapter. He is licensed civil engineer in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana. He is an active member of the ASCE and past president of ASCE Central Jersey Branch.
