Happy Thanksgiving!

TCNJ XE finished off a very busy semester with an Apple Pie Eating Contest social held on November 20, 2024. Teams representing XE, ASCE, Humanitarian Engineers, and ASME competed for the title of Ultimate Pie Annihilator. Congratulations go to TCNJ XE Initiates Joey Ricciani and Steve Ioannidis for winning the title while representing the ASCE student chapter. The Humanitarian Engineers (Vincent and Max) placed second, and ASME (Henry and Liam) third. While TCNJ XE didn’t place this semester we are ready for a rematch next year. Thank you to all that bravely participated and Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween!

TCNJ XE members, candidates, and alumni returned to the Howell Farm Corn Maze on October 26th for our traditional Halloween race. Congratulations goes to the team of our senior members Dan and Anthony who joined with our candidate Andrew to complete the maze in an adjusted time of 15 minutes! It was a close race with all other teams placing within six minutes of each other. Happy Halloween everyone and we look forward to the rematch next year!

Technical Seminar

TCNJ XE hosted a technical seminar on October 23rd. Our guest speaker was Mercer County Engineer Sunny Muzaffar and WSP Engineer Megan Ortiz as representatives of PESMC (Professional Engineers Society of Mercer County). They presented on Mercer County’s Capital Improvement Program for Roadways and Bridges. Thank you to our guests and many students who attended the seminar.

TCNJ XE is the Student Organization of the Week!

On 10/16, TCNJ XE was once again featured as the student organization of the week. We are proud to continue to promote Chi Epsilon within the larger TCNJ community.

Dr. Nabil Al-Omaishi’s Recognition

In recognition of his 20 year long tenure at TCNJ, and his extraordinary professional career, TCNJ XE members and candidates awarded a plaque to our first Honor Member Dr. Nabil Al-Omaishi. Congratulations!

Halloween Service

TCNJ XE members and candidates came together on October 9th to pack Halloween bags with coloring books, school supplies, candy, and toys for first graders in Highland Park Elementary School in Upper Darby, PA. We have been carrying out this tradition for six consecutive years, and are proud to continue helping the community through this service event! Special thanks goes to our alumna Olivia Williams (’20) for facilitating our connection with Highland Park Elementary’s teachers and students.

Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk Service Event

komenOn October 5th, TCNJ XE Members and Candidates volunteered once again at the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk. This year we helped set up for the event. Thank you to all who came out today to keep up this important XE tradition in support of breast cancer awareness month .
