TCNJ XE hosted a technical seminar on 10/25. Our alumni member Luke Aboff (’20) with Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC presented on land development practices in various projects he was involved with. We thank Luke and Dynamic for providing a great insight into the site civil industry.

After the Ewing Senior and Community Center burned down last year, TCNJ became the host to a popular Trunk or Treat event that is typically attended by over 1000 kids. TCNJ XE chapter donated almost 5 lb of candy to be distributed at the event this year. We are proud to continue to support our local community through this donation.

TCNJ XE members and candidates came together on October 11th to pack Halloween buckets with coloring books, school supplies, candy, and toys for first graders in Highland Park Elementary School in Upper Darby, PA. We have been carrying out this tradition for five consecutive years, and are proud to continue helping the community through this service event! Special thanks goes to our Trustee Olivia Cleale (’20) for facilitating our connection with Highland Park Elementary’s teachers and students.

On September 6th, TCNJ XE members and candidates came together to kick off the fall semester with our invitation social. This event provided us with the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with some of Chi Epsilon’s history and planned events, compete in a Kahoot game focused on Civil Engineering and TCNJ trivia (congratulations Julie for an impressive win!), and enjoy some local pizza. It marked an excellent beginning to the semester!

TCNJ XE participated in Dean Welker’s Ice Cream Social on 8/29 which marked a start of a new academic year. TCNJ XE plans to hold multiple exciting events this year. Stay tuned!
