Halloween Social

Our senior and junior members participated in a pumpkin carving competition during our Halloween Social on October 25th. The seniors decided to get creative with their use of materials while the juniors went for a more clever approach. The competition was too close to call!

Happy Halloween from TCNJ’s CEHS!

Fundraising Fun!

Over the past couple of weeks, our members have been taking shifts and selling chips in Armstrong’s lobby. Due to the removal of the kineticart, there is no food for students between classes unless you go to the Student Center or Eickhoff. From Dorito’s to Cheetos, we have it all!

TCNJ Garbage Pick Up!

On October 1st, our members gathered at Armstrong Hall to collect trash that had been littered throughout TCNJ’s campus. In order to complete their volunteer hours, new members  and associate members walked along side e-board members for two hours. The members were split into two groups of five and walked along the loop and sidewalks of the campus. From 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, our members were able to fill up plenty of trash bags! Starting off a Sunday right by giving back to our college community!

Terhune Orchard Volunteering

Two of our members, Tommy and Steven, dedicated their time today to volunteer at a local orchard. Our members helped the orchards during one of their family fun festivals. Since this is a very popular day for the orchards, our members helped ring up customers at the pick-your-own apples station. We hope to continue working closely and volunteering with Terhune every fall!

Third Time’s the Charm!

Mickey Avenoso, the Vice President of the Honor Society, has started 3 organizations on campus during his 3 years at TCNJ.  The first was a revolutionary club called American Veterans Club, which focuses on raising money for veterans and spreading awareness for their quality of life after serving.  The second is the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, a national fraternity with over 130 chapters nationwide.  The Civil Engineering Honor Society is the third organization that Mickey has created at TCNJ.
